Coach Clinic Reimbursement Policy
Camrose Softball Association (CSA) will reimburse coaches for travel to a required coaching clinic hosted by Softball Alberta if a local clinic is not available. Payment will be made at a rate of $0.50 per km travelled round trip. When registering for a coaching clinic, coaches must select the closest available clinic and submit a copy of their clinic invoice to the CSA Board for review. For clinics more than 200 km away one way, coaches must submit a request for approval to the CSA Board prior to booking.
For hotel accommodations and daily meal reimbursement, coaches must submit 3 hotel quotes to the board for review prior to booking and then book the approved quote. Once hotel accommodations have been approved coaches may spend up to $75 per day for meal allowances during the approved clinic. Coaches must pay the cost of accommodations and meals and submit receipts to the board for reimbursement. Expenses without a suitable receipt will not be reimbursed and alcohol expenses will not be reimbursed.
CSA has the final decision.
